I posted news about the new Pioneer CDJ-2000s being released. I mentioned that these new CD digital turntables do EVERYTHING... well that's not entirely true. There's one thing new technologically advanced turntables will never be able to do, and that is replace vinyl turntables.
The DMC Championship is a tournament featuring the best turntablists from across the world. Usually these DJs practice intensely a single routine all year, and come out of the woodwork to compete. Winners generally become DJ celebrities instantly, signing on to tours and endorsement deals. More on the unique history of the DMC Championships can be found HERE
